I just wanted to say that I will try to submit more on DA. I finally figured out how to use my scanner, so now I can submit more~
I can only submit things on the weekdays, however. Hopefully I'll submit more soon.
In other news, I have decided to take on the Nuzlocke Challenge (
[link]) on all the Pokemon games currently in my possession that I haven't beaten yet (with the exception of SoulSilver), plus Firered, which I have already beaten.
Because for some reason, after I finish one version of the games (such as Sapphire), I never get around to finishing its counterpart (Ruby, in this case)... But I always finish the third version of the games (Emerald, in this case)... XD;;
Therefor, I will be doing the Nuzlocke challenge on Pokemon Firered, Ruby, Heartgold, Diamond, and Black. In that order.
I was also going to do the Challenge on Gold, but it has recently stopped keeping my save file... OnO
Perhaps I could just keep my SP on 24/7 on the charger? XD
I'll see how the other challenges go... I actually started the Black Nuzlocke Challenge, but then I was like "Nah, I'll do them in order".
I also altered the rules a bit for my own run:
1. You can only capture the first Pokemon you encounter in each new area. If you are unable to capture said Pokemon, you don't get a second chance to capture another Pokemon in that area.*
- Shiny and Gift Pokemon are exempt from this rule.
- This rule also doesn't apply until after receiving Pokeballs from the Pokemon Professor.
- If you already own a species in the first Pokemon you encounter's evolution line, then you may retry for another Pokemon.
- If you run out of Pokemon that can learn an HM that is necessary to continue the game, you may catch a Pokemon that can. This Pokemon, however, may not take part in the main storyline or be used for any other task.
2. No Legendary/Trade/Event/Breeded Pokemon.
- Zekrom and Reshiram are exempt from this rule, as they are necessary in order to continue the game in Pokemon Black and White.
3. If a Pokemon faints, you can no longer use it. It is dead. You must either release it* or keep it boxed forever.
4. All Pokemon must be nicknamed.
5. Certain areas, such as Pinwheel Forest, are split into different sections (in the case of Pinwheel Forest, Exterior and Interior). These sections may be considered two different areas.
*Original rules (in case you didn't click on the link before)
I'm thinking about making comics about my challenge as well. And I'll actually use my tablet to draw the comics~ But there is no guarantee...
So far on Firered, I have been pretty lucky based on the Pokemon I've caught... I haven't had any casualties, but I'm only in Mt. Moon... It's only a matter of time... :/
So yeah~ Let's see how things go from here~
